I chose Best Western for its proximity to the Menil Collection, a must-visit for me. However, the 24-hr reception and fresh breakfast were pleasant surprises.
Rooms need updating. Poor water pressure and TV system needs improvement.

we stayed at Best Western at incredibly perfect location like Rice University in 6 hours. the room had great amenities, clean, bug-free, and comfortable. Free parking was bright, spacious, and underground, and the breakfast was amazing, with great coffee.

I was pleasantly surprised by the ample breakfast options. The waffle maker and biscuits and gravy were a particularly nice touch. However, the outdated televisions and mattress quality left something to be desired. I'll recommend this hotel.

the hotel was clean and very close to the hospital we were visiting - just across the street. the staff was outstanding, and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a good variety.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive and accommodating. The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs, with easy access to the medical centers and the light rail system. The room itself exceeded our expectations, with all the necessary amenities like a fridge, microwave, and comfortable bed. The hotel also offered free Wi-Fi and had a fitness center for guests to use. We were thoroughly impressed with our experience.
The smell in our initial room. It had a strong sewage odor that was quite unpleasant.

Good-sized rooms and comfortable beds. Convenient location with easy access to attractions and within walking distance to Herman Park.
Felt very secure, no complaints at all.
